If you thought anime was just about supernatural, mecha, action, think again. The anime genres are varied, out of these, one of the genres that's wildly popular is romance. The romance genre is even further divided into many subgenres, so there's something for everyone. On one hand, you have light-hearted romantic comedies and on other, there are dramatic romances.

10. MAID SAMA









Misaki is the class president, known for being strict and cold, who hides one very dark secret: she works part-time in a maid cafe dressed up in a cute maid costume. That is until she is found out by Takumi, the school's most popular guy. With her secret revealed, Misaki must now keep this handsome boy from letting the skeletons out of her closet. But what starts out as a way to protect her secret slowly grows into something more, as the two begin to see each other for more than just their exterior images.

But after reading similar experiences other customers had had with Chizuru, Kazuya believes her warm smile and caring personality were all just an act to toy with his heart, and he rates her poorly. Aggravated, Chizuru lambastes him for his shameless hypocrisy, revealing her true pert and hot-tempered self. This one-sided exchange is cut short, however, when Kazuya finds out that his grandmother has collapsed.
